YES Shelter for Youth & Families

The YES Shelter for Youth and Families, located at 196 Brock Street in downtown Peterborough, has been a vital resource for over two decades, opening its doors in 2002 to support the community. It provides emergency shelter, food, and clothing for youth aged 16-24 and families experiencing homelessness, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Beyond immediate shelter, YES offers crucial transitional housing, an alternative classroom, and a food and clothing cupboard, working to prevent homelessness and support residents in the Kawarthas.
