Lovesick Lake Native Women’s Association

Founded in 1982, the Lovesick Lake Native Women’s Association is a vital Indigenous-led organization in Lakefield, serving the rural areas around Peterborough. They offer culturally appropriate programs and services, including prenatal nutrition, child and family support, and long-term care, all aimed at strengthening Indigenous women, families, and community wellbeing through cultural revitalization and advocacy.
